While it may take some time after Election Day to sort out the winners and losers, by this time next week, the 2024 election season will essentially be over. (Hard to believe, I know!)

In the meantime, we've been talking to advisors about their opinions of the issues and candidates on the ballot. Most recently, I took a closer look at the data regarding the election outcomes advisors are hoping for.

Financial Planning polled 213 respondents as a part of its Fall 2024 Election Survey and asked which election outcome would be best for the country overall. And while there were some deviations, the overall picture remained roughly the same between various races.
 
  • Why do so many advisors lack estate plans?
    A recent survey of 280 financial advisors from the online estate platform Trust & Will found that while almost all believed in encouraging estate plans, many had yet to develop their own.
